- TXB has once again added several new limited-time offerings to its menu at participating convenience stores, according to an April 3 announcement.
- The new items include TXB’s new al pastor quesadilla, chicken and waffles, and a Wafflewich Deluxe sandwich that can be purchased alone or as part of a combo, according to the announcement. All three are available from now until July 3.
- This marks the second time since February and the third since last summer that TXB has launched new LTO food options as the c-store retailer continues to grow its made-to-order operation.

With many major quick-service restaurant chains having raised their prices over the past year, TXB’s latest options — all of which are under $8 — underscore one of the c-store industry’s advantages to compete with QSRs: value.
These items aren’t only affordable, but made with quality ingredients as well. The al pastor quesadilla features pulled pork and pineapple in a fresh-made, grilled tortilla. Meanwhile, the Wafflewich Deluxe features sausage, eggs and cheddar cheese between two waffles, and the combo adds with a hashbrown and drink of choice. The box of chicken and waffles comes with a side of honey.
“These hearty, on-the-go meals aren’t your typical convenience store offerings, as TXB strives to provide guests with fresh meals that are convenient and directly competitive with restaurant-quality menu items daily,” according to the announcement.
In February, TXB brought its made-to-order foodservice program to multiple locations in Texas, and added quick-service restaurants to several other stores in the Lone Star State as part of its continuing rebranding of old Kwik Chek locations.
TXB’s most recent LTOs earlier this year featured a spinach, mushroom and egg breakfast quesadilla, a waffle hash brown and Lent-friendly shrimp poppers. Last summer, the retailer added a new chicken bacon ranch quesadilla to its menu for a limited time.
Spicewood, Texas-based TXB, formerly known as Kwik Chek, operates around 47 convenience stores across Texas and Oklahoma.
