After rolling out made-to-order foodservice at select locations earlier this summer, Tri Star Energy has launched the program across its entire Twice Daily store network, according to an emailed announcement Tuesday.
The menu additions were piloted at various test locations in Tennessee and included made-to-order items like subs and other sandwiches, burgers, empanadas, breakfast foods and snacks. At the time, Tri Star indicated the food program would launch across its entire network sometime this fall.
Over two months later, the program has arrived at all 200-plus Twice Daily across the Southern U.S after the initial rollout proved to be successful among customers, the company said in its announcement.
“Our guests know to expect fresh, quality food when visiting any of our locations, and we’re excited to officially launch this new made-to-order option throughout Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky,” Dawn Boulanger, vice president of marketing for Tri Star Energy, said in the announcement.
Customers order their meals at in-store kiosks and can select from a variety of meats, cheeses, eggs, bagels, spreads and other toppings. Once they place their orders, guests receive a printed ticket as the store’s team members prepare the food. Tri Star has also updated the Twice Daily mobile app’s ordering feature to include these same customizable options.
Twice Daily’s sub sandwiches come in several varieties, including ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, Italian, Nashville hot chicken, Philly cheesesteak, turkey bacon and Adobo chicken. Its regular sandwiches include roast beef and cheese, crispy chicken, ham and cheese with honey mustard, and the honey bacon club.
Beyond its made-to-order foodservice program, Twice Daily also offers a selection of groceries, doughnuts and pastries, as well as a beer cave featuring local and craft beers.
Founded in 2000, Nashville, Tennessee-based Tri Star Energy owns and operates over 200 c-stores and supplies fuel to wholesale trade channels in 17 states. Besides Twice Daily, its c-store banners include Sudden Service, Southern Traders, Little General and Maverick Quick Shop.
