Dive Insight:
Stinker is coming off a busy 2023, during which the c-store retailer debuted its new food-focused store format, enhanced its loyalty program with updated features and took on several other technology-driven initiatives, such as a retail intelligence platform.
Kicking off 2024 with a flurry of executive changes across the departments that handle these initiatives underscores Stinkers’ plans to continue growing this year.
Prior to being named VP of operations, Pidlypchak was Stinkers’ regional director of operations for its Idaho market, where he oversaw the company’s six districts in the state. He joined Stinker in March 2022 after being a district manager for Salt Lake City-based Maverik for over seven years, according to his LinkedIn bio.
Colemire assumes his role as VP of marketing and brand after working as Stinker’s director of marketing for several years. He leads the company’s marketing, merchandising, pricing and category management teams, as well as its Pete’s Eats foodservice program and social media.
Segadelli takes on her role as VP of people and culture after spending the past two years as Stinkers’ director of human resources, where she focused on building programs to help team members learn new skills and reach career goals. Prior to joining Stinker, Segadelli worked in HR for appliances and electronics manufacturing company Plexus Corp., according to her LinkedIn bio.
Mooney’s promotion to VP of IT comes after nearly three decades spent with Stinker. He joined the company in 1995 as an auditor before becoming a retail territory manager in 1997. In 2002, Mooney shifted to the tech department as an IT manager, and became director of IT — his most recent position — in 2012, where he oversaw the company’s network security and technology infrastructure, according to his LinkedIn bio.
Forsgren became CFO in September after joining Stinker as corporate controller in May of last year, according to his LinkedIn bio. He leads Stinkers’ finance and retail compliance teams.
Boise, Idaho-based Stinker Stores has more than 100 locations in Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming. The Stinker family of companies also includes Arrowrock Supply — a grocery and tobacco wholesaler — and trucking company Westpoint Transportation.
