Dive Brief:
- H&S Energy Group has expanded its Power Market banner into the Portland, Oregon, area, according to a company post on LinkedIn.

- H&S is one of several c-store chains rebranding recently acquired sites. Other examples include Maverik’s ongoing transition of Kum & Go and Oxxo transforming former DK locations.
Dive Insight:
H&S made headlines early in 2024 when it acquired Andretti Petroleum’s assets, including more than 160 convenience stores, on the West Coast. It’s not clear if this site was one of those locations, though Andretti had purchased a company called Stein Oil before being acquired by H&S.
H&S could not be reached by press time for more details about the project.
“This marks an exciting step forward as we expand our footprint in Oregon — bringing the Power Market and Papa Sal's Deli experience to even more communities,” H&S said in the LinkedIn post.
Papa Sal’s Deli, part of the larger Papa Sal’s private label line, offers a wide variety of made-to-order items, including specialty or build-your-own sandwiches, a breakfast menu, chicken, rice bowls and wraps.
H&S has been updating its tech alongside growing its footprint. The company invested in temperature monitoring technology and has made multiple updates to its mobile app. It’s also expanding its delivery capabilities and adding carwash subscription services.
