Although inflation is the lowest it’s been since March 2021, sales of private label products have continued to grow in sales and popularity — some even more than national brands — among convenience store consumers.
Notable private label expansionss in the c-store industry over the past year have included Kent Kwik’s nuts and trail mixes; 7-Eleven’s bagged chocolate and energy drinks; TXB’s dried meat sticks, cold brew coffee and rehydration beverages; and Rutter’s branded beer selection.
Loop’s new Delish line includes 10 gummy varieties, including regular and neon gummy bears; regular and sour worms; apple, peach, chili peach and chili melon rings; and rainbow and strawberry belts.
On the snacking side, Loop’s Delish line features several nut mixes, including chili lime and toffee peanuts, chocolate trail mix, a “High Energy” blend and a “Nature’s Deluxe” variation.
In its announcement, Loop credited the development of its latest private label offering to its director of marketing and its center store category manager.
“Their passion and dedication over the past year have brought this sweet dream to life, and we couldn’t be more proud of the result!” the company said.
Fremont, California-based Loop Neighborhood Market operates more than 130 c-stores and fueling stations in California. It also operates the Poppy Market c-store chain in northern California.
