Loop Neighborhood Market has appointed Brandon Frampton as its new director of fresh foods, according to a Thursday announcement from the company.
Frampton was hired for the role thanks to his extensive experience in the convenience store industry, including helping lead foodservice programs, providing financial analysis and forecasting for projects, according to the announcement. According to his LinkedIn bio, he took the role in April.
“His extensive experience and innovative approach will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our Fresh Foods division,” said Varish Goyal, CEO of Loop Neighborhood Market, in the announcement. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will make on our organization and our customers."
Frampton joins Loop after an eight-month stint as a principal consultant for consultancy Impact 21, according to his LinkedIn bio. Prior to that, he spent nearly a year as president of Mountain Express — a stint that ended in April 2023 after the company went bankrupt. That role came after Frampton spent nearly two years as TXB’s vice president of foodservice operations.
His other roles have included four years as senior merchandise manager for CST Brands — which was later acquired by Alimentation Couche-Tard — where he oversaw 380 C-Store locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas; three years as vice president of food service with North Carolina-based convenience store retailer The Pantry; and 11 years at Pilot Travel Centers, where he served as the national brand manager for the Subway concept.
“Leveraging my experience in the convenience sector, I'm eager to lead Loop Neighborhood Market's team and contribute to their continued success,” said Frampton.
Fremont, California-based Loop Neighborhood Market operates more than 130 c-stores and fueling stations in California. It also operates one Poppy Market c-store in Arbuckle, California.
