Global Partners LP, which operates roughly 300 c-stores under chains such as Alltown Fresh and Honey Farms, has named Kristin Seabrook as its next chief legal officer, the convenience retailer announced on Friday.
Seabrook joins Global Partners after spending nearly two decades with c-store competitor Pilot Company, where she was most recently chief legal counsel and secretary. In that role, she led an 86-person legal team that managed several business functions, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate, trade and regulatory compliance.
Seabrook will start at Global Partners on April 14 as senior vice president of legal transformation. She is set to become chief legal officer on Jan. 1, 2026, with incumbent Sean Geary acting as a senior legal advisor to ensure a smooth transition, according to the announcement.

President and CEO Eric Slifka said in the announcement that Seabook 's expertise in M&A, compliance and corporate governance “will play a critical role” in helping the Massachusetts retailer identify growth opportunities, enhance its operational capabilities and optimize its portfolio..
Growth opportunities may involve Global Partners’ fresh-food programs and electric vehicle charging network, both of which the company has invested heavily into in recent years.
“Her industry knowledge, business acumen and strategic approach to legal matters will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our business,” Slifka said of Seabrook.
Geary is set to step down as chief legal officer after about four years in the role. He’s held several other positions since joining Global Partners in 2005, including deputy general counsel, vice president of mergers and acquisitions, and acting general counsel.
“Sean’s impact on Global has been profound, and we are fortunate that he will remain engaged as an advisor during this transition and beyond,” Slifka said.
