Dive Insight:
As c-store operations become increasingly complicated in these tough economic times and companies collect more data, retailers are turning to AI to help improve sales, workflows and decision making while not overtaxing workers.
“[Quorso’s] platform enables us to take a more personalized, data-driven approach to operational improvements in every store,” said Elizabeth Pierce, COO for EG America. “It also drastically reduces the overwhelming amount of data that our store teams have to process.”
Parker’s expanded its partnership with software firm Titan Cloud last year, adding inventory management and forecasting tools to an integration that was already powering its operations, environmental compliance and fuel management systems.
RaceTrac, meanwhile, recently selected digital imaging firm Epson’s ColorWorks on-demand printers for shelf tagging and product labeling, and introduced a cardless payment option for professional truck drivers through mobile financial services company WEX.
EG America is the U.S. arm and largest branch of Blackburn, U.K.-based EG Group. Its banners include Cumberland Farms, Fastrac and Tom Thumb.
