Dive Insight:
Stryve’s latest round of c-store partnerships underscores its rapid ascent in the U.S. convenience store industry.
In 2021, the company revealed that 2,600 7-Eleven-owned Speedway stores as well as 1,400 Circle K locations in the U.S. had begun carrying its products. Earlier this summer, Stryve announced partnerships with several other major and mid-sized convenience retailers, including TravelCenters of America, Royal Farms, Kum & Go, Parker’s, Pilot and many others.
Stryve also works with mass merchandisers, drug stores and online platforms in addition to c-stores and grocery stores.
"Our mission is to help Americans snack better, and we’re doing that by providing people with convenient and significantly more nutritious snack options that support a healthy and active lifestyle,” said Chris Boever, CEO at Stryve, in Tuesday’s announcement. “The inclusion of these retailers in our distribution network allows us to reach a broader audience and further deliver on that promise.”
Plano, Texas-based Stryve Foods manufactures, markets and sells biltong and other protein snacks under several brand names, including Braaitime, Kalahari, Stryve and Vacadillos. Its products are mainly sold in North America.
