Dive Insight:
7-Eleven’s latest foodservice launch comes just a day after the convenience retailer announced a new Pi Day pizza special for loyalty members, including the return of the Extreme Meat pizza. Both offerings underscore the company’s aim to curate its fresh food options, which it remains “hyper-focused” on doing, Senior Vice President of Fresh Foods Dave Strachan said in the announcement.
"At 7-Eleven, our commitment to customers goes beyond just convenience – we're focused on building upon the innovation and quality that keeps our customers coming back every single day," Strachan said.
7-Eleven’s new cheesy three-meat breakfast burrito features diced bacon, diced ham and breakfast sausage crumbles with a blend of nacho cheese sauce, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese shreds. Meanwhile, its Carnitavore breakfast burrito is made with pulled pork, scrambled eggs, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and salsa verde. Both burritos come wrapped in a white flour tortilla.
The retailer’s new meat and cheese deli stacks are made with keto-friendly salami and come in colby jack or pepper jack varieties. Its new bottled tropical fruit juices come in citrus berry punch and orange pineapple flavors.
7-Eleven also launched several new foodservice items in 2023, including a spicy meat pizza, cheesy garlic bread sticks, chicken bacon ranch rollers and Korean BBQ-flavor boneless chicken wings.
Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises and/or licenses more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. It also operates and franchises Speedway, Stripes, Laredo Taco Company and Raise the Roost Chicken and Biscuits locations.
