Kristin Cook is stepping down from her post as vice president and chief of staff to 7-Eleven CEO Joseph DePinto, Cook announced in a LinkedIn post on Monday.
She did not state what her upcoming plans are.

“I’ve had the privilege to work alongside some of the most talented, driven, and value-centered people in the industry,” she wrote in the post. “I’m deeply grateful for the mentors, colleagues, and teammates who have challenged, supported, and inspired me over the years.”
Cook joined 7-Eleven in 2010 as senior counsel, according to her LinkedIn bio. She spent the next 13 years in various roles in 7-Eleven’s legal department, including associate general counsel and then VP and deputy general counsel.
In June 2023, Cook became chief of staff to the CEO. She succeeded Onutase DeHenre, who became 7-Eleven’s vice president of data. As chief of staff, Cook has spent the past two years as strategic advisor to DePinto and the senior management team, “integrating work streams and linking the leadership team to the broader 7-Eleven organization,” according to her bio on 7-Eleven’s website, which has since been removed.
“To Joe DePinto and the entire leadership team — thank you for the trust, the opportunity to grow, and the chance to contribute to such a dynamic and iconic brand,” she wrote in her post.
Before joining 7-Eleven, Cook worked in a variety of roles with multiple law firms, including as a law clerk, associate and senior associate, according to her LinkedIn bio.
